LUXURY STORE OPENING IN DOHA IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SALEH AL HAMAD AL MANA Group of Companies
LONDON/DOHA: 8 December 2014– Harvey Nichols, the world’s leading luxury retailer and Harvey Nichols Doha LLC, a luxury retail company affiliated to the Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana Group of Companies, a leading Qatari business group, have signed an exclusive licence agreement for the development of a Harvey Nichols store in the State of Qatar, Doha.
Targeted to open in Q1 2017, the store will boast 80,000 square foot of retail space which will offer an exclusive edit of fashion, beauty, childrenswear, homeware and a range of hospitality services.

This is a highly attractive market for Harvey Nichols as Qatar has one of the world’s highest levels of disposable income.
The gross domestic product per capita in Qatar is ranked number 1 globally, being $100,000/capita and Qatar is forecast to be one of the world’s fastest growing luxury markets. With strong consumer confidence and spending power, Qataris are the biggest buyers of luxury goods in the Middle East according to The American Express Middle East Luxury spending tracker.
The store will be located in Doha Festival City, the prestigious shopping, leisure and entertainment center of Doha. The store will be Harvey Nichols eighth venture outside the UK and Ireland. Other International locations include Hong Kong, Dubai, Riyadh, Turkey and Kuwait.
