Cadillac’s New Generation V-Series Delivers State-of-the-Art Performance Technologies – Designed to Ensure Track-Readiness Right From the Showroom
Cadillac V-Series models come equipped with highly-advanced driver-oriented technologies, including a Performance Data Recorder (PDR) and a Cosworth Toolbox telemetry software
DUBAI – Later this year, Cadillac Middle East will unleash three all-new cars in its performance V-Series lineup. The all-new ATS-V – available in sedan and coupe forms – and the new generation CTS-V. The expansion and elevation of the V-Series lineup further solidify Cadillac’s unyielding commitment to performance focused driver cars.
The two models boast class-leading forced induction powertrains and a comprehensive suite of design and performance systems such as the Performance Data Recorder (PDR), which can capture its driver’s performance and analyze it using the Toolbox Telemetry software developed by Cosworth. This feature demonstrates Cadillac’s commitment to offer its performance minded drivers a technological solution that guarantees a more rewarding track driving experience.
“We live in a data-driven digital age, where our every move can be tracked, analyzed and even shared with others,” said Nadim Ghrayeb, Brand Manager Cadillac Middle East. “The next-generation ATS-V and CTS-V models were built to serve as an expressive extension to the fast-paced, ever-connected lives of our customers. However, the inclusion of performance data capture and telemetry will allow our performance minded customers the ability to share their drives with friends, as well as fine tune their driving in order to better exploit their V-Series’ potential capability.”

The vehicles’ extensive roster of advanced features comprises a Performance Data Recorder (PDR), which allows drivers to record high-definition video, with data overlays, of their driving experiences on and off the track, enabling data analysis and sharing on social media. The PDR system was developed with Cosworth, the British motorsports-engineering company that supplies General Motors’ Racing Teams with data acquisition and telemetry systems.
In addition, the next-generation ATS-V and CTS-V models also feature a professional-level motorsports Cosworth Toolbox telemetry system that lets drivers analyze their laps in incredible detail and find opportunities to improve and fine tune their driving and lap times. The telemetry software combines Cosworth’s professional-level motorsport data analysis with an easy-to-use graphic interface.
The 2016 models’ key performance technologies also include third-generation Magnetic Ride Control -which delivers 40 percent faster damping response – an integrated chassis controls that provide balanced performance for touring and the track as well as functional aerodynamic package and supplemented drivetrain cooling. Complementing these mechanical and exterior performance focused features as an equally driver focused interior with high-performance seats, optimized ergonomics and interfaces.
